Some things need to be said out loud...better with an acoustic guitar in hand and microphone planted between my feet.

Ive been singing for many years professionally, started out as a drummer singer actually. A manager spotted me one night while I was filling in for a friend. Opportunities emerged after I received vocal training,... pantomimes, restaurant and club gigs. I have supported touring overseas artists all the while writing my own songs. Finally I have the opportunity to put out my songs directly having been signed to a previous publisher and record company.

Writing songs is like breathing for me. Its is a process of expressing the fire in the belly about life issues that are basic - freedom, autonomy, sovereignty all the things that make humans what they are fallen but still made in the image of God.

My songs... I hope they will have find a place in your life to help with the making sense of things. Together we may find a better place, a still place from which to respond to storms raging in, through and around our lives.

Influences: - Neil Young, Paul Simon and Cold Play... Dylan and Springsteen's authenticity, the harmonies of the Beach Boys, Crosby Stills Nash and Young; the Melody of Motown and Neil Finn...the craft of Queen and the Beatles; the poetry of Joni Mitchell Dylan and the rhythm and soul of the Dooby Bros, Santana, Stevie Wonder, BB King.

Im a mix of all that. It really it depends what needs to be said. But always, I hope to be authentic and true to the meaning of the song that unfolds. I believe truth has a way of making us whole, Im always wanting to walk towards it as I live and when I write and perform.
